This is a list of my favorite fitness gear that your fitness-loving friends and family are SURE to love. Last year I brought a kettlebell and some protein bars to a dirty Santa and it got stolen 3 times. So if you want to bring a gift that’s sure to be a hit, take a look at my ride or die fitness equipment!

For the Yogi or Workout-at-home-mom

Superlite Yoga Mat

When it comes to yoga mats, I have become pretty picky. I didn’t realize the difference a nice mat made until I had one.

This yoga mat is very lightweight which makes it perfect for travel but I also love the feel of it! Check it out and see the difference a quality yoga mat makes!

Super Cushioned Yoga Mat

Yes, I have 2 yoga mats because I’m extra but honestly, this mat is amazing! It’s very cushioned and super sicky so my hands and feet aren’t sliding away from each other! If you struggle with your hands slipping during downward dog or your knees digging into the ground because your yoga mat is too thin, this is the mat for you! Check it out!

About Time Fitness Supplements

About Time is my favorite company for supplements! They’re naturally sweetened with Stevia and very high quality! Check out their Vegan Protein Brownie Mix, Protein Pancakes, and ProHydrate Coconut Water + Electrolytes!

Whey Protein Powder

The next few protein powders are my favorites and they all taste amazing!

This Coconut Ice Cream protein powder is the real deal, mix it with ice and yogurt and it legitimately fills that ice cream craving.

This Dymatize Fudge Brownie Protein Powder is my favorite chocolate flavored protein powder!

I’ve tried several vegan proteins and the only one I really think actually tastes good is Orgain. I prefer the vanilla, it doesn’t have the gritty taste all of the other vegan powders tend to have.

For the Friend that is Constantly Unraveling their Headphone’s Cords

Wireless Headphones

I LOVE my wireless headphones! If you are still using headphones with a cord, I’m sorry, you need to try wireless. There’s no point in putting yourself through the agony of unwinding those cords everytime you want to use them! My Plantronics headphones are waterproof and do NOT fall out of my ears! I can wear them while running and doing Crossfit WODS. It doesn’t get any better than that!

For the One that Loves Music

or Books-on-tape (I grew up in the 90s)

For the One that Blends EVERYTHING
(You can’t even taste the kale)

It’s hard to be a gym rat without a blender for all those shakes. I’ve been using the Ninja with the single serving option for 4 years and it’s still running great! I hear good things about the Vitamix as well but I haven’t personally used it.

For the Hard Worker that Gets Home Late From Work

Meal Prep

There’s no shame in using a meal prep service. One of the biggest hurdles we all face is having the TIME to cook at home. When eating out you have no idea how many more calories in oils and butters you are consuming than when you cook at home. Save time and money and let Blue Apron enhance your life so that you can spend the evening with your family around the dinner table.

For the Mom/Dad that Needs Fresh Air

Running Strollers

As a mom, it’s so important to take care of yourself and find ways to fit in activities with your kids! My kids and I LOVE taking walks and runs together. Fresh air is so good for the soul and the body! I did a ton of research before purchasing my jogging stroller. I bought the Baby Trend (the double because I have two littles) because it seemed to be the best quality for a budget stroller. If money was not a problem, I would have purchased either the Bob or the Baby Jogger Summit.

Home Gym Equipment

My fitness journey began with a set of kettlebells, dumbbells, bands, a mat, and Youtube. Here are my favorite kettlebells and bands!

This is the kettlebell I started with. I will also link some with a little bit of cushion if you aren’t into the hardcore weights haha! My suggestion is to buy one that seems a little heavy as they aren’t cheap and you may grow out of yours too quickly if you purchase too light. I started with 30 lbs and it was too heavy for things like overhead presses at the time but it was great for growing into kettlebell swings and squats.

Bands make it easy to get a good workout in at home! They are also great for travel! I suggest long circular bands and a good booty band!

Gym Mat

Part of actually working out from home is making sure you have a great workout space and a mat is essential for that. This is what I used when I did home workouts!

Gym Bags

I’ve had my fair share of backpacks and gym bags. I’ve experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly. Here are 2 of my favorites!

I love that you can carry this Under Armour Gym Bag like a backpack but you don’t have to dig into a deep backpack to find stuff! Plus, it also has a dry compartment which is essential!

If you also need to take prepped meals with you, check out this Fitmark Bag!
